The Nature’s Composites 3-Rail Traditional Ranch Rail system is designed to stand 48 inches above ground. The post itself stands 47 inches above ground, and the post cap provides an additional 1 inch to complete the total 48-inch height. The 65-inch post will be buried 18 inches, representing 38% of the total post length, which exceeds the 1/3 recommended rule for secure installations.

Hard Surface Mounting: For fences mounted on hard surfaces, you can cut the post to 47 inches, fill the end of the post with wood, and use a post bracket for secure mounting.
